Returning to the temple was harder than I expected and I had to restructure my schedule and have had a hard time fitting everything in to the new time frame. We had nights in November and I should have taken more advantage of my mornings to get things done. We have been doing mornings for December and now January but I find them difficult because I don’t have time to do things before we go and when we return I don’t have the energy to do anything. We are early in for the month of January which means we are the first missionaries in and I do laundry for the first hour or two. I like the quiet alone time especially on Thursday when we start at 5:30. Jeff is working incredible hard on Spanish. I am very proud of him but feel a little guilty that I should be working harder.
We have met some wonderful people in the temple and I am delighted with the sweet tender mercies the Lord provides for us as we run this temple. In early December, I saw Barbara Fletchers youngest son in the baptistery here and the fact that we even made the connection was amazing to me. We often function with less than half the staffing that we need but the Lord seems to always make up the difference enough that it is almost expected now.
The sixth floor is my favorite and I often spend my break there in the peace and tranquility. I love the art work and find it a good place to ponder.
Wee have had many activities and events since I last made an try but I am going to address them separately.
