We went to the end of Brooklyn the Narrows to see Staten Island from the Americans view point. It is beneath the Verrazano Narrows Bridge and there was a lot of traffic. However we could see Staten Island from the John Paul Jones Park. From there we went to see the Old Stone House. As Washington watched from Battle Hill (Greenwood Cemetery) he could see 400 soldiers slaughtered at Old Stone House and exclaimed, “My God, what brave men I must lose today.” We then returned to Prospect Park to find Battle pass which we were able to do. We tried to find the markers in the Brooklyn Bridge Park again but I was too tired, it was getting late, and we were lost. so we came home.
